through the storms with no real damage! Yes, some trees were lost, but
none fell on anything important (people, house, etc.)
The big yellow and white tent is gone, too. No, it wasn't blown away
(we took it down and anchored it in place.) But now, it's covering a
gigantic hole in the home of one of our church members. Gustav knocked
a 100' tall oak right through the middle of their house and made a
hole too large for any available tarp to cover! Pastor Dave remembered
the tent - and so it serves yet another purpose.
Just so you know, (unless the power goes out again) 58watt will be
open on Wednesday, Sept. 17 from our usual 5:30 till 10ish. Our sign
(such as it was) was destroyed, too. Now, you'll have to watch for the
driveway between the piles of tree debris. The security light at the
street is still working, so that should help if it's dark.
Come on by, share your hurricane stories, donuts and some freshly
brewed coffee.
Let us know if you need anything, due to the storms and we'll see if
we can "hook you up", too!
Blessings and Peace!
Bruce and the 58watt team
